This is a recipe for egg fried rice, which is fried rice with egg in it
This recipe is for two big portions of food, perfect for dinner for two people. It is healthy and has much protein in it.
1: Start by cooking the rice in a pot with a teaspoon of salt and cut up the onion and garlic into small pieces.
2: When the rice is almost done, add the tofu, onion, and garlic into a frying pan with oil and cook until slightly browned.
3: Then add rice and turn the heat to medium.
4: Let the rice cook off some of its water and add the soy sauce and stir so that all the rice is coated.
5: After a couple minutes add the eggs and stir vigorously so that all the rice gets coated. Do this until the egg is cooked.
6: After that it is finished.
The rice should be light brown in colour with little pieces of tofu and egg mixed in. You can salt it a bit more when serving if you want that.
