This is a recipe for chicken and rice made in a special way with vegetables and spices.
This is a South American recipe for chicken and rice made with spices and vegetables. This recipe is for about 4 portions and is pretty cheap.
optional:
1: Peel the garlic and onion and dice into small pieces. Cut the chicken filet into small pieces if using that too. If you're using drumsticks, just use them whole.
2: Add the onion, garlic, and chicken into a pan at high heat with oil. Cook until the chicken and onion has gained colour.
3: Then add the rice and water and turn the heat to low-medium and let it simmer.
4: Then add the spices and tomato sauce.
5: Cut the bell pepper into small, bite sized pieces and add it to the rice.
6: Stir it occasionally and cook until all the water has cooked off.
Add salt as you feel is needed by taste.
When the chicken and rice is finished just eat it on its own or eat it with some bread if you want. It should be orange or reddish in colour and have pieces of pepper and onion in the rice along with the chicken.
